- You are the Twitter ambassador / evangelist to TV celebrities. You will be expected to build and maintain relationships with the inner circle of TV talent and their reps, and become the “go to” person for their social media needs. You will focus a broad range of celebrities, including:
- Traditional (scripted) TV celebrities, both on current series and not on the air, but still high-profile.
- Reality Stars and stars emerging from competition shows.
- Daytime hosts.
- High-profile showrunners and producers.
- Grow and evolve Twitter's creative relationships with talent, networks, management firms, PR firms, social media “management” firms to:
- Act as a creative consultant to representatives and talent.
- Manage and execute a volume of creative content plays with TV talent, such as live tweeting of shows, talent Q&As, and other creative uses of Twitter
- Design and implement wholly new approaches to TV talent tweeting, including new content formats
- Establish and track analytics for celebrity usage of Twitter, as well as analyze the overall growth, impact and value of TV content on Twitter
- You will work with our media marketing and comms team to create marketing materials that scale best practices and insights across the industry and across all TV genres, including generating new case studies and data-driven best practices.
- Leverage our access to talent to help grow followers and engagement for @twittertv; highlight great TV Tweeting via @twittertv.
- Identify the key product needs of TV talent and effectively communicate these needs within Twitter
- Deep knowledge of the TV world landscape, including significant and direct experience with networks, shows, managers, agents and p.r. firms, and most especially first-hand work with talent.
- Nuanced understanding of Twitter and its impact on TV.
- Direct experience in driving adoption of Twitter in the TV business
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, in person and in writing, to many different audiences, ranging from executives to talent––you are an evangelist at heart.
- Experience conducting data-driven analyses to drive your decision-making
- Comfort devising and conducting research projects.
- Mastery of PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, and all the other tools of business
- 10+ years work experience (or equivalent), and at least 5 years in the TV world
