- Manage operation to optimize the delivery of the team of Account Manager based on revenue targets and OKRs
- Lead and motivate one or more vertical teams and be responsible for setting the tone and focus of the team(s) each quarter
- Act as a leader and mentor by overseeing, directing, and organizing the work of the AM team
- Ensure AM team has a plan of attack to enable each account to deliver at or above goal on a quarterly basis
- Partner closely with Director, Sales Manager and Vertical Marketing to shape strategic vision for vertical team(s) and develop tactics to achieve quarterly sales forecasting, planning and budgeting
- Create efficiency throughout the sales process. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values commitment to quality
- Establish priorities based on Account Planning by providing a clear understanding product, sales life cycle and company strategy.
- Assessing and prioritizing product needs on behalf of the DSO AM organization and delivering quarterly report to product and PMM teams to influence product roadmap
- Work with heads of industry to help them best optimize resources and ensure successful implementation of clients campaigns. Provide analytical support to Industry Heads including development of internal management reporting capabilities
- Drive areas for improvement across tools, systems, and process with the operations and product teams
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders on upfront or custom partnerships (e.g., BofA Red campaigns) to ensure alignment across internal stakeholders and delivery on external stakeholder needs
- Foster productive relations with Social Content Directors within clients and Heads of Content in Agencies and Midia Managers to define optimization strategy and disseminate best practices.
- A deep understanding of the online advertising industry with a focus on mobile and social, as well as, the tools and technologies that enable ad serving
- At least 10+ years proven account management and operational experience in digital media with strong foundation in technology
- Demonstrated ability to make a strong impact on revenue through coaching and development of AM’s
- Demonstrated ability to create, develop, and enhance customer relationships
- Ability to maintain and grow large partner relationships; manage internal and external stakeholders through conflict; drive stakeholders towards solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and a bias for proactively resolving issues
- Aptitude, creativity, and an ability to drive small and large collaborative teams to drive action/effect change
- Must have strong understanding of digital marketplace and understanding of the competitive landscape in which we operate
- A passion for Twitter and clear understanding of the AM organization’s vision and mission
- Comfortable in building relationships with Social Content Directors and Heads of Content in Agencies and Midia Managers
