"I like that I’m helping others with the knowledge that I have. I’m making a difference for one person or even more. We never know all the impact we cause in each other’s life."
"Being an English Mentor, I can be closer to my mentee. I feel like I can help her better, and she can be more comfortable with me to ask questions. (And we learn so much other stuff together). And Soul's staff is amazing as well. I felt welcomed and an important part of this."
"I love to help the student and watch them grow in confidence and English skills throughout the semester. I love to teach them how valuable knowing English can be in their life."
"It was very uplifting every time I could see the improvement in my mentees' development and would get compliments from them. It was priceless. I felt soo happy to see I made a difference."
"The chance to get to know people from other parts of Brazil and different sociocultural background, especially in this mutual-benefit format."
