About the position:
- Manage all product data aspects of the product creation system (FlexPLM) from Marketing brief and range plan to sales sample;
- Use FlexPLM to generate new product tracking numbers on a seasonal basis and input/update/maintain critical data during each round of the product creation process;
- Build and maintain product libraries to better manage the product creation process - ensure data integrity and accuracy for all seasonal inline and SMU product types;
- Track entire process against the corporate Product Creation Dates and Gates calendar to ensure all deadlines are met;
- Understand the dynamics of all business intelligence tools used at Converse, especially FlexPLM, and know how these various systems impact each other throughout the product creation process;
- Develop processes and strategies to generate maximum efficiency for each key milestone within the timeline;
- Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Product Development, Design and Product Marketing to ensure successful completion of all critical milestones;
- Identify potential process improvements that could be translated into system upgrades and enhancements that can be implemented cross functionally;
- Be responsible for compiling workflow analysis, analyzing SKU efficiency and productivity reports, and creating “dashboard” reports for Executive level review in order to track key metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Marketing required;
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a consumer products related environment (footwear preferred);
- Advanced knowledge in Excel is required – in macros will be a plus.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English (fluent);
- Experience with SAP is desirable.
- Ability to critically analyze information & systems and demonstrate creative problem solving skills;
- Must be very organized, detail-oriented & able to track & prioritize multiple issues on an on-going basis;
- Must have the ability to understand, coordinate, and support the implementation of new processes and systems;
- Willingness to be a team player in a dynamic work environment and able to interact effectively across functions and cultures.
