The Dynamics AX Global Financial Management (GFM) team focuses on the area of financials and delivers global financial engines as well as ensuring compliance with country-specific financial regulations. The Dynamics AX GFM LATAM team is looking for a smart, passionate, cooperative and experienced Software Engineer to join the team based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and play a key role in enhancing the functionality, delivering a quality product and making a difference in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate would have strong passion and capability in programming, focus on quality of code, debugging skills, and ability to work in defining the feature as part of the product roadmap. Additionally, they should have the ability to prototype quickly in driving concepts to realization with a customer focus while iterating as necessary. They should have strong design skills to build robust and scalable implementations that address the customer needs while offering a very user friendly experience at the appropriate level of complexity. While aware of the breadth of the product, the candidate should be able to develop the technical depth and expertise in areas of ownership and become the technical go-to person for those areas.

Primary responsibilities of the position include:
- Develop a breadth of knowledge in all aspects of the product (technology & application)
- Drive the design and coding of assigned product features
- Hands on coding and prototyping of specific concepts and functionality
- Team with the development Lead to analyze and cost the impact of change to the product
- Collaborate with peer program manager and software engineers, as well as other AX teams to ensure correctness and success of assigned features.

- B.S/M.S./Phd in computer engineering or science or related degree is required.
- X++ and C# experience is a plus.
- Familiar with Database application development
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong debugging skills and the proven ability to quickly understand other developers' code
- A passion for quality and continuous improvement of processes and software
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, follow development standards and to work independently
- Commitment to team play
- Clear and effective communication skills with good written and spoken English
- Prior experience in any ERP or accounting software development preferred
- Passion for the customer\partner
