To strengthen our Infrastructure Knowledge Team in São Paulo, Brazil , we are currently seeking a creative and energetic intern. The position provides an avenue for a high caliber individual to enter our Research/Specialist track and build an interesting career.

With a team of Knowledge Colleagues based in 5 locations around the world, you will be based in São Paulo and you will work with McKinsey consultants from around the world to:
Conduct research and prepare analysis on the latest developments in the industry and present the synthesis of the findings in charts, tables, frameworks, written summaries and fact packs
Build knowledge on the infrastructure industry in Brazil and Latin America, as well as to identify, review, and maintain information sources and databases
We expect that you will also contribute to building the Infrastructure Practice by participating in finding new ways to create innovative and distinctive services, identifying knowledge gaps and building proprietary knowledge and tools as well as to embrace and enhance team spirit.
In your work, you will have access to numerous sources of information as well as to an international network of internal and external specialists to enable you to develop a globe-spanning picture of the industry and its trends.

You will have interest in engineering, architecture, urban planning, or public policy related to infrastructure, or passion for business research focusing on the infrastructure space and be willing to quickly gain industry knowledge. We are looking for a highly inquisitive and creative individual who is excited about working in a cross-cultural environment.

We expect:
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic record
You have an interest in and an understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminology
Interest in the key aspects of the infrastructure sector (e.g., construction and real estate across asset classes, regulatory environment, private and public partnerships)
Good understanding of a broad spectrum of business information sources and tools, along with the ability to identify and engage external experts for primary research
You have proven problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
You communicate persuasively both orally and in writing in English and in Portuguese Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
You are highly motivated and creative, and enjoy working independently as well as in a team
You have professional attitude and service orientation and team spirit
