The E-Commerce Country Manager will be responsible for partnering with the VP of E-Commerce to define the strategic vision, objectives and goals for Forever 21’s Country E-Commerce operations. The Manager will oversee day-to-day E-Commerce operations for the region and be expected to deliver an E-Commerce experience that meets marketing, sales and operational goals defined by the executive management team:
Partner with the VP of E-Commerce to manage all aspects of the Country E-Commerce business including, merchandise planning, promotional campaigns, online marketing, website design and customer service.
Oversee projects of cross-functional teams, engaging with merchandisers, analysts, graphic designers, social media, and PR teams to ensure design and solutions are accurately produced and developed
Manage 3rd party external platforms (including Tmall, Taobao, JD.com) and develop promotional calendars and merchandising strategies to achieve business goals
Develop and oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of all web content
Manage projects ensuring that all deadlines are met and that results are delivered on budget and within expectations
Provide expertise on current Mexico E-Commerce industry best practices
Proactively communicate the status of projects to business owners and key stakeholders as needed; manage project deliverables/launch expectations with all business owners on behalf of the E-Commerce project team
Manage all aspects of web analytics related to E-Commerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership, and cross-functional partners
Manage a staff which includes completing performance reviews, recommending pay changes, communicating corrective action and delivering any job-specific training to maintain a high-performing team
Must have Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline; MBA preferred
Must speak fluent English, both written and oral
Must have 3-4 years of strategic E-Commerce management experience with the proven ability to develop/implement and manage a successful E-Commerce business in Mexico
Strong understanding of retail inventory and managing inventory risk; able to develop merchandising strategies to ensure high inventory turnover and high margins
Strong knowledge of various online marketing channels in Mexico across both web and mobile channels
Proven ability to lead a cross-functional team and manage multiple direct reports with strong communication skils
