Exhibit ownership and provide consistent direction for Regional team to execute business plan, drive top-line sales to ensure financial goals, expense targets, and company objectives are met
Identify and develop successful strategies in partnership with HQ and District Managers to impact regional business plan
Build a sales culture that inspires a high performing team to drive ultimate sales performance
Utilize and hold teams accountable according to business trends and subsequent reports
Support new operational initiatives to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of such processes
Collaborate with functional HQ and Field partners to ensure creative solutions exceed customer requirements as well as store operational standards
Drive a consistent brand among stores in the region by providing strategic insight to the Operations team
Effectively represent the region in community and media efforts
Oversee store openings, closures, and remodels as required
Lead weekly meetings with District Managers to communicate corporate directives that impact the business strategy
Support and promote HQ Visual direction to ensure regional teams execute a compelling visual presentation to drive sales
Provide regional leadership by ensuring all employees exhibit the expected performance and behavior standards
Ensure stores achieve optimal staffing levels to include the right people in the right positions
Attract, recruit and retain top talent to maximize store performance through consistent, effective coaching and feedback
Coach and develop Regional Management team on business acumen, visual presentation and people management through store visits and sufficient on-boarding
Partner with Human Resources Business Partner Manager to support and coach District Managers in an effort to expand the reach of succession planning to individual districts and store employees.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 10 years of multi-unit retail experience
Must demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication and relationship management skills; effective in time-management practices
Must have strong business math acumen by demonstrating the ability to understand and articulate:
profit and loss statements, margin developments, and budgets and sales forecasts
Must have Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must demonstrate a sense of urgency while still delivering quality results to upper management
Must be able to travel every week with some overnight stays.
