The Business Marketing team at Instagram creates marketing programs that promote ad opportunities for brands and creative/media agencies across the globe and are looking for an experienced marketer to oversee the marketing of Instagram as an advertising platform in Latam. This person will be passionate about building Instagram as a premier advertising brand and platform. They should be an expert at creating marketing positioning, collateral and various forms of marketing content (both digital and offline). The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of digital marketing and the advertising industry. The candidate will also have strong content development skills, experience working with sales teams to understand market needs, and a track record of developing best-in-class materials and activations. Excellent marketing, writing, and cross-functional coordination skills are critical to success in this position. This position is full-time, based in our Sao Paulo Office.

Responsibilities
- Develop, build and deliver go-to-market strategy for Instagram across Latam – with initial focus on Brazil and Mexico
- Work directly with both the Instagram product and business teams as well as Facebook global and local business marketing teams to align messaging, marketing materials, etc
- Also work directly with Facebook sales teams to align marketing materials and activations with Instagram’s advertising growth
- Work with global and local cross-functional counterparts to ensure cohesion and scalability for advertising messaging, campaigns and programs
- Work hand in hand with local Instagram PR to develop consolidated comms approach
- Create programs that can be used by sales teams to generate new business, educate clients, and engage clients on innovative ways to use Instagram to achieve their industry-specific business objectives
- Develop innovative and creative marketing programs to drive outcomes that scale
Work closely with regional business marketing leads across Latam to ensure Instagram is deeply integrated into their marketing plans


Requisitos

Bachelors degree
8+ years of experience in digital marketing, web technology companies, strategic consulting and/or advertising working with global brands or agencies
Expert in marketing messaging and content development— online and offline experience required
Superb cross-functional, project management and leadership skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
Strong experience in handling, understanding and working across multiple markets
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to translate complex concepts into simple and intuitive marketing programs
Strong creative perspective to bring fresh ideas to our marketing campaigns
Comfort with a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
English required, Spanish desirable
Passion for Instagram/photography/design is essential
