Apple is looking for a dynamic, highly-motivated Product Manager to be responsible for Apple Products. As the Product Manager, you will be the champion of Apple product lines. This role is responsible for successful product launches, comprehensive business and market analytics as well as closely working with all marketing functions to lead demand generation, define and communicate region-unique requirements for future products, and communicate to multiple stakeholders both in Latin America and Cupertino, the business case for long-term growth of Apple products in Latin America. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong passion for Apple products in addition to a solid understanding of marketing, the finesse of marketing innovative products, business management as well as customer insights that help inform business decisions.
Description
Provides product leadership from introduction through end-of-life to both the marketing and sales organizations. Defining, developing, and driving initiatives that make a difference to the business. Drives the definition of broad, complex, and innovative products for the Latin America market, assisting in the development of the product line strategy. Creates and delivers formal presentations and leads group discussions on products for a broad range of Apple audiences. Articulates issues and makes clear recommendations. Policing product messaging and positioning across every customer touch point. Expands outbound marketing through the introduction of new programs and methods of outreach that drive customer excitement. Provides feedback to local management and Cupertino teams. Evaluates new technologies and makes recommendations to pursue in future products. Collects customer and partner requirements for future product development. Possesses expert knowledge of competitive and 3rd-party products and strategies. Makes pricing and forecasting recommendations to management and cross-functional teams. Communicates and positions the product in relation to other products and the competition. Closely follows emerging technology, consumer, and societal trends, and makes recommendations for how products will leverage or fit into those emerging trends.
BS/BA degree required. MS/MA/MBA, preferred, but not required.
Thorough knowledge of Apple products and industry.
8+ years of experience in product marketing, preferred but not limited to, cellular, consumer electronics, hardware, and software industries.
Must have curiosity, passion for excellence, and be able to ask the right questions.
Excellence in presentation, spoken and written skills in both English/Spanish or English/Portuguese.
