AMARO is seeking a razor sharp Business Intelligence Intern to join our São Paulo, Brazil based team. You will be in charge of delivering unique insights into our business and constantly surprising the company’s management with new discoveries about or customers, products and operations.
This role is best suited for someone who is in love with numbers. You will identify trends, patterns and understand the business application of the underlying data. Your job is to anticipate questions, come up with recommendations for improvements, and frequently present your findings to the team.
This is a highly analytical role that requires a driven, self-reliant and quantitative individual.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Weekly analyze performance of collections, categories and individual products with the goal to identify opportunities for growth
- Provide all teams in the organization with insightful analysis to help them make data-driven decisions
- Through your analysis, identify data patterns that no one else in the company has been able to find
- Present the management team with a detailed BI report on a weekly basis
- Quickly create ad-hoc reports through our BI software
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled at a top university in an Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering course
- Experience with statistics, quantitative analysis and applied mathematics
- Familiarity with how raw data is organized in databases and how to overlay data to derive useful metrics
- Notion of BI software such as RJMetrics, Gooddata, Looker, Qlikview
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Advanced English
